Web Site Development:

Samples of our work:
To give you an idea of the quality of our product, we would like to refer you to a few web sites we have built. Please keep in mind that these sites vary in cost and age. Additionally, modifications to the original site may have been performed by the owner since the site was created.

Since no two web sites are exactly alike, pricing can vary by a very wide margin. It will depend on the size and complexity of the project, hosting considerations and which specific services are requested. Please contact us directly to arrange for a more specific estimate of cost for your project.

Below you will find more in-depth information about the process involved in designing and building a web site to fit your needs.

Web site design:  Although designing a web site initially appears to be relatively easy, appearances can be deceiving! Before the first file is created, the designer must answer a series of questions, including:

  • What type of internal navigation will be used?
  • Is the site likely to grow over time? If so, how much, how fast?
  • Will the client want to edit material on the site? If so, how much and how often?
  • What (if any) special tools (CGI, autoresponders, etc) are available at the hosting site?
  • How large will the site be?
  • Are parts (or all) of the site likely to be printed out on paper by visitors?
  • Will there be special requirements for secure communications, database integration, etc?
  • What browsers, screen resolutions and color resolutions are the target audience likely to be using?

Supplied with the answer to these questions and others, a web site design can be developed. At this point other aspects such as color scheme, overall appearance, intuitiveness of use and internal structuring come into play. Decisions must be made on how and where to divide up the site information into various categories and/or web page sized parcels. Once all of this is accomplished, the developer can then move on to begin the real work of creating the actual files for the web site.
