We offer training and consulting services on a wide variety of subjects.
While primarily concentrating on internet related subjects, we also offer guidance on Local Area Network setup and administration as well as general computer use and security related subjects.
On-site instruction is stressed as much as possible since it is our belief that students tend to learn more thoroughly and much faster, if they are learning on the actual equipment that they will be using on a day-to-day basis.

Internet related training:
SimTronics offers a wide variety of internet related training sessions targeted to our customers needs.
For the average user, training sessions can include but are not limited to the following subjects:
- The Internet Primer - basic history, structure and usage of the Internet.
- Web Browsing - popular browsers, search engines, bookmarks, etc.
- E-Mail - sending, receiving, filtering (where applicable), etc.

- Basic Security - antivirus, spyware, secure browsing, etc.
- Common utility programs - ping, traceroute, time syncs, 'bots, etc.
- Netiquette - how to avoid 'most' of the flames.

Training sessions on specific subjects are also supported.
All training sessions are priced at a flat rate for up to four students per session.

We prefer to train students on their own equipment (if possible) so that they can see exactly what things will look like when under normal usage. All classes are geared to the students speed.
Site administration training:
While simple web sites or Local Area Networks require little in the way of maintenance, the more complex a site is, the more maintenance it will require.
We offer training on a variety of site administration subjects (if applicable) which include but are not limited to:
- Moving files to and from the web site.
- Web site internal structuring considerations.
- E-Mail set-up and routing.

- Security & internal usage controls.
- Bandwidth conservation.
- Web page editing.
